Get ready for loads of fun with Strobe Light Charades! Let’s be honest, even as you get older, we all act like a little kids when someone turns on a strobe light. Now you can get moving and play an amazing game as well!
PREP TIME – None
ITEMS NEEDED – Strobe Light
GAME TIMEÂ – 10-15Â Minutes
PARTICIPANTSÂ – Everyone divided into two teams
INSTRUCTIONS
Strobe Light Charades is exactly what it sounds like. Simply flip the lights off, turn on the strobe light and play charades. Basic charade rules are that you must act out the clue, but can not speak or make any sounds.
Before you get going, split your group into two teams. Make sure to show the actor the clue before you turn off the lights, give them a second to process it and then flip the lights off, turn the strobe on and let them get acting. If their team can guess the word(s) before time is up, they are awarded the points for that round.

BONUS TIPS
1. Make sure teams go one at a time. Since it’s dark, it gets really confusing if both teams are yelling out things.
2. Elevate the actors so they are easily visible, but make sure they have plenty of clearance (you don’t want anyone stumbling off the stage).
3. The darker you can make the room, the better the game will be. If there is too much light, the game won’t work properly.
4. Give the MVP of the winning team the strobe light. You can find a strobe light on Amazon for less than ten bucks.
